I Medici is the new Rai Uno’s TV series which debuts Oct. 17th with Renaissance as soundtrack, sang by Skin and signed by Paolo Buonvino. This last one has always wanted Skin as an interpreter of the theme song of the head and tail of the international co-production of I Medici – Masters of Florence whose characters are Cosimo De’ Medici, played by Richard Madden, and the patriarch Giovanni De’ Medici played by Dustin Hoffman.
Renaissance was signed by Paolo Buonvino who wanted to involve Skin in a song that contaminates with rock and electronics the classical Renaissance. The theme song of I Medici – Masters of Florence was presented through the publication of the official video for Renaissance, starring by Skin himself, also with a series of new scenes of the show. In fact, the video was directed by Cosimo Alemà than through a travel path from Skin shows the locations of I Medici, exploring the characters and the images of the show that actually also belong to the historical memory.
